On Tuesday, 9 September 2025, Parma hosted a new edition of the Cena dei Mille, the event that transforms the historic centre into an open-air restaurant and is the most eagerly awaited moment of Settembre Gastronomico.
The Consorzio di Tutela del Culatello di Zibello DOP took part in the initiative in the aperitif area, coordinated by Parma City of Gastronomy. Guests were able to taste freshly sliced Culatello di Zibello DOP, together with dishes that combined tradition and creativity. The appreciation was unanimous: all the offerings sold out, confirming the appeal and prestige of the product.
The Consortium’s participation in the Cena dei Mille is part of a context that celebrates the excellence of the Parma Food Valley, highlighting the value of collaboration between institutions, consortia, chefs, schools and businesses. An event that not only promotes the region and its food and wine culture internationally, but also supports solidarity projects that benefit the community.
For the Consortium, being part of the Cena dei Mille means strengthening the network of collaborations that supports the Parma Food Valley and, at the same time, reaffirming the centrality of Culatello di Zibello DOP: a product of excellence that embodies the gastronomic identity of the region and acts as an ambassador for its traditions around the world.
